This program aims to show the selected group of children the love and power of Jesus, and what that means for us. Each day, through the stories of the Sea of Miracles, every child will experience and explore Galilee during the time of Jesus. They will also discover the adventures and joys presented to them each day through Christ-centered activities. They will learn more about how to know Jesus and develop a close relationship with Him.

El objetivo principal de este programa es mostrar a los niños el amor y poder de Jesús, y todo lo que significa para nosotros. A través de los relatos de “Sea of Miracles”, los niños experimentaran y exploraran “Galilea en los tiempos de Jesús”. Cada actividad estará llena de aventura y gozo donde Cristo es el centro. Esta será una experiencia inolvidable!, aprenderán un poco mas a conocer a Jesús y a desarrollar una relación cercana a El.

Villa Plata

It is a community located in the northeastern part of Limón Centro, where families live under very limited conditions. It is also a place in need of an Adventist church, as the majority of people do not have vehicles, and public transportation is not very efficient. The community has a population of 270 families, and it is expected that 250 children will be part of the VBS (Vacation Bible School). It is also important to consider the need to arrange transportation for the children, as there is a distance of 7 kilometers, and the Adventist school will be the venue where the event will take place.

Es una comunidad situada en la parte noreste de Limón Centro, donde hay una población alrededor de unas 270 familias con condiciones de vida muy limitada. Debido a que en este lugar no hay una Iglesia Adventista, el evento tendrá lugar a unos 7 kilómetros de distancia de Villa Plata, en el Centro Educativo Adventista de Limon. Esta zona no cuenta con vehículos o transporte colectivo efectivos, Gospel Travel Mission se encargara de trasladar alrededor de unos 250 niños a participar del VBS, en transporte previamente contratados para este evento.

Ojo de Agua is a community located 8 kilometers from the Limón Adventist School, and similarly, transportation needs to be provided as most people do not have their own vehicles, and public transportation is not easily accessible.

Ojo de Agua comunidad ubicada a 8 kilómetros de distancia del Centro Educativo Adventista de Limón, debido a la inefectividad del transporte colectivo, Gospel Travel Mission proveerá el transporte necesario para trasladar a los niños y voluntarios al evento de VBS que se estará celebrando en el Centro Educativo Adventista de Limón.

It is a population similar to the other previously mentioned communities. From this place, about 100 children are expected to participate. The distance to CAL is 9 kilometers each way. Prices for transportation of the missionaries from the airport to the Limón Centro Hotel: Transportation from the airport to Limón Centro costs $2,100 for pick-up from the airport and drop-off on the day of their return.

Al igual que las comunidades anteriores, este lugar está ubicado a 9 kilómetros de distancia del Centro Educativo Adventista Limón, donde celebraremos el evento VBS. Gospel Travel Mission se encargara de facilitar el transporte necesario para trasladar alrededor de unos 100 niños y voluntarios al evento donde disfrutaran de unos dia extraordinarios en Jesus.

Monday, July 8th, 1st day | Lunes, Julio 8 – 1er día
On this day, we focused the message on: Jesus is our Rabbi, and we are His followers. The Bible verse is found in Mark 1:17, which tells the moment when Jesus says to His disciples, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men."
Bible Story Station: The children were told the story of how Jesus called fishermen to be His disciples. It was also shown that just as Jesus called His disciples, He calls us to work for Him and fulfill our mission in this world with love.
Prayer Station: The children drew a picture with a prayer about something they were thankful for, and then they prayed, sharing with God their reasons for gratitude and their requests.
Games Station: A game was conducted where all participants had to hold hands and form a circle. The station leaders gave directions on which way to move to encourage teamwork.
Craft Station: Paper boats were made.
Experiments Station: After an explanation of how wheat is processed, the children made bracelets out of cereal.
En este día, enfocamos el mensaje en: Jesús es nuestro Rabino, somos sus seguidores. El versículo bíblico se encuentra en Marcos 1:17, el cual relata el momento en el que Jesús le dice a sus discípulos “síganme” y los haré pescadores de hombres.
Estación de historias bíblicas: Se les contó la historia de como Jesús llamó a pescadores a ser sus discípulos. Asimismo, se les muestra que, así como Jesús llamó a sus discípulos, nos llama a nosotros a trabajar por Él y cumplir con amor nuestra misión en este mundo.
Estación de oración: Se realizó un dibujo con una oración sobre algo por lo que estaban agradecidos y se procedió a orar, haciéndole saber a Dios sus motivos de agradecimiento y petición.
Estación de juegos: Se llevó a cabo un juego en el que todos los participantes debían tomarse de la mano y realizar un círculo. Los lideres de la estación indicaban hacia qué dirección debían avanzar para fomentar el trabajo en equipo.
Estación de manualidades: Se confeccionaron barquitos de papel.
Estación de experimentos: Tras una explicación de cómo se procesa el trigo, los niños realizaron una pulsera hecha con cereal.

Tuesday, July 9th, 2nd day | Martes, Julio 9 – 2do dia
On this day, we focused the message on: Jesus is our healer, and we are free. The Bible verse is found in Mark 5:41, which tells the story of Jairus' sick daughter and the moment when Jesus says to her, "Little girl, I say to you, get up.
"Bible Story Station: The children were told the story of Jairus' sick daughter and how Jesus restored her health. Just as He did for her, He can free all His children when they are sick or in pain.
Prayer Station: The children were given a plastic pot with the word "love" written inside. They were asked to think of a moment when they were sad, crush the pot, and place a note inside that said "Jesus loves you" along with a smiley face.
Games Station: A game was played where the children were divided into teams. One team had to capture the other based on given instructions.
Craft Station: Paper fish were decorated.
Experiments Station: Small dough balls were formed, and a recipe for making bread was recorded.
En este día, enfocamos el mensaje en: Jesús es nuestro sanador, somos libres. El versículo bíblico se encuentra en Marcos 5:41, el cual relata la historia sobre la hija enferma de Jairo y el momento en el que Jesús le dice “Niña, a ti te digo, levántate”.
Estación de historias bíblicas: Se les contó la historia de la hija enferma de Jairo y como Jesús pudo restaurar su salud. Así como lo hizo con ella, puede librar a todos sus hijos cuando están enfermos o dolientes.
Estación de oración: Se les entregó a los niños una maceta de plástico con la palabra “amor” escrita dentro. Debian pensar en un momento en el que estuvieron tristes y aplastarla y poner un papelito que decía “Jesús te ama” y una carita feliz.
Estación de juegos: Se llevó a cabo un juego en el que se dividieron en equipos. Un equipo debía capturar al otro según se les iba indicando.
Estación de manualidades: Se decoraron peces de papel.
Estación de experimentos: Se formaron pequeñas bolas de masa y se registró una receta para hacer pan.

Wednesday, July 10th, 3rd day | Miercoles, Julio 10 – 3er dia
On this day, we focused the message on: Jesus is the Son of God, and we are courageous. The Bible verse is found in Mark 6:50, which tells the story of Jesus walking on the water toward the disciples and saying to them, "Don't be afraid."
Bible Story Station: The children were told the story of Jesus walking on water and feeding a multitude.
Prayer Station: They played a game where one child walked between two rows of children who tried to blow out a candle the child was carrying. At the end, they shared prayer requests and the things that make them feel stronger and braver.
Games Station: They played hot potato with water-filled balloons and used a hose to keep the activity refreshing and dynamic.
Craft Station: They created baskets out of clay.
Experiments Station: The children were given grapes and then pretended to make grape juice. Afterward, they crushed Orbeez to symbolize the grapes being crushed in the juice-making process.
En este día, enfocamos el mensaje en: Jesús es el Hijo de dios, somos valientes. El versículo bíblico se encuentra en Marcos 6:50, el cual relata la historia sobre Jesús caminando hacia los discípulos sobre el agua y les dice: “no tengan miedo”.
Estación de historias bíblicas: Se les contó la historia de Jesús caminando sobre el agua y alimentando a una multitud.
Estación de oración: Realizaron un juego en el que un niño caminaba en medio de dos filas de niños que intentaban apagar una vela que llevaba encendida. Al final de todo, se compartieron las peticiones de oración y las cosas que los hacen sentir más fuertes y valientes.
Estación de juegos: Se jugó papa caliente con globos rellenos de agua y los mojaron con una manguera para mantener la actividad refrescante y dinámica.
Estación de manualidades: Se crearon canastas hechas de barro para manualidades.
Estación de experimentos: Se le entregaron uvas a los niños y luego debían hacer parecer que estaban creando jugo de uva.
Posteriormente, se procedió a aplastar orbees para simbolizar estas uvas aplastadas en el proceso de la  creación del jugo.

Thursday, July 11th, 4th day | Jueves, Julio 11 – 4to dia
On this day, we focused the message on: Jesus is the Messiah, and we are saved. The Bible verse is found in Mark 8:29, which tells the story of the moment when Peter responds to Jesus, declaring that He is the Messiah.
Bible Story Station: The children were told that all names have a meaning, just like when Jesus asked who He was, and clarified that He is the Christ.
Prayer Station: They discussed how Jesus died on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins. The children wrote notes and drew a cross on a piece of paper along with their names to symbolize that Jesus saved each of them.
Games Station: They were divided into teams and assigned a number. Each participant would race to capture the flag when their number was called.
Craft Station: They engaged in coloring activities in small notebooks.
Experiments Station: They were shown how to dye a piece of fabric and wool.
En este día, enfocamos el mensaje en: Jesús es el Mesías, somos salvos.
El versículo bíblico se encuentra en Marcos 8:29, el cual relata la historia sobre el momento en el que Pedro le responde a Jesús que Él es el Mesías.
Estación de historias bíblicas: Se les contó que todos los nombres tienen un significado. Así como cuando Jesús preguntó quien era él, y aclaró que él era el Cristo.
Estación de oración: Se conversó sobre como Jesús murió en la cruz por el perdón de nuestros pecados. En un papelito realizaron notas y dibujos de una cruz junto con su nombre escrito para simbolizar que Jesús los salvó a cada uno de ellos.
Estación de juegos: Se dividieron en equipos y se les asignó un número. Cada participante salía a atrapar la bandera cuando su número era llamado.
Estación de manualidades: Se realizaron actividades de coloreo en pequeñas libretas.
Estación de experimentos: Se les mostró como teñir un pedazo de tela y lana.

Friday, July 12th, 5th day | Jueves, Julio 12 – 5to dia
On this day, we focused the message on: Jesus is our Lord, and we are His helpers. The Bible verse is found in John 21:15, which tells the story of when Jesus says, "Feed my lambs."
Bible Story Station: The children were told about how Peter shared the way Jesus served him breakfast on the beach and later commanded Peter to "feed my lambs."
Prayer Station: They wrote a positive message on a piece of paper with the intention of giving it to a loved one later.
Games Station: A game was played where the children were divided into teams. One team had to capture the other based on given instructions.
Craft Station: Mini aquariums were created by pouring blue liquid into a bottle along with a toy sea animal.
Experiments Station: A DIY perfume was made.
En este día, enfocamos el mensaje en: Jesús es nuestro Señor, somos sus ayudantes. El versículo bíblico se encuentra en Juan 21:15, el cual relata la historia sobre cuando Jesús dice: “apacienta mis corderos”.
Estación de historias bíblicas: Se les contó sobre como Pedro comparte la manera en que Jesús le sirvió el desayuno en la playa, y mas tarde le ordenó a Pedro a que “apaciente mis corderos”.
Estación de oración: Se escribió en una hoja de papel un mensaje positivo con el objetivo de dárselo más tarde a un ser querido.
Estación de juegos: Se llevó a cabo un juego en el que se dividieron en equipos. Un equipo debía capturar al otro según se les iba indicando.
Estación de manualidades: Se realizaron mini acuarios en el cual se vertía un liquido azul dentro de una botella junto con un animal marino de juguete.
Estación de experimentos: Se confeccionó un perfume DIY.

Tour Location

Su viaje comienza hoy a bordo de su vuelo internacional hacia Honduras. A su llegada al aeropuerto San Pedro Sula (SAP), nuestro guía lo recibirá fuera de la aduana para abordar el transporte oficial y le acompañará en el recorrido hasta llegar a nuestro hotel seleccionado donde procederá a registrarse y descansar. El resto del día es libre, para disfrutar de la vista, piscina, actividades personales. Cena y alojamiento en su hotel.
Su viaje comienza hoy a bordo de su vuelo internacional hacia Honduras. Luego del desayuno, salimos temprano del hotel y nos vamos al lugar del evento, donde estarán las carpas. Empezamos la preparación del equipo y de los materiales para las actividades del VBS o Escuela Bíblica de Verano que realizaremos toda la semana con los niños de las comunidades: Santa Lucía, El Campanario y Los Caminos. Procedemos almorzar, (Variedad de platillos no incluidos en el precio del paquete), luego volvemos con nuestras mochilas a la 1:00 pm a la zona de la misión, listos para nuestro 1er día con los niños de la comunidad, cuyo VBS será de 2:00 – 5:00 pm todos los días. En el lugar de la misión, preparamos el material necesario para la apertura de nuestra Escuela Bíblica de Verano y al llegar los niños, los recibimos con una sonrisa y los vamos acomodando en sus asientos, para explicarles, en forma grupal, en que consiste la actividad de toda la semana preparada para ellos. Un personal médico instala el consultorio móvil para empezar las consultas médicas y dentales durante el resto de la semana. Tomamos tiempo para la merienda y a la hora indicada, recogemos los materiales y el área, para tomar nuestro bus de regreso. Cena y alojamiento en su hotel.
